SWAMTA SUMMER SPLASH FAQ:
How does the event work? Register using the above link. Approximately 1 week before the event you will receive the necessary links to join the event. This event will be hosted via a combination of Webinar Jam and Zoom
Do I need a special app? For the continuing ed courses, you need only the link that will be provided to you via email. Webinar Jam does not require you to download a separate app. For other events such as the board meeting, you will need to download Zoom on the device you wish to participate from.
Do I have to attend all days? What if I'm not available? No problem! You are not required to attend each CMTE or event live. Each continuing education course will be recorded. The recordings will be accessible to you for one month following the event.
How do I earn continuing education credit? SWAMTA is hosting these courses as NON-PREAPPROVED through CBMT. This decision was made to 1) expedite the process of rolling out our event and 2) to be financially conservative as a region. Each course provider will also provide instructions during the course for claiming credit. However, for documentation you generally need to provide only a written summary of the event and proof of attendance.
How do I prove my attendance? Presenters will be giving out a six digit code as part of their presentation. The first 3 digits will be given at the beginning of the course. The last 3 digits will be given at the end of the course. You will be provided with a google form to fill out and will receive a pdf certificate of attendance. There is a different code for EACH course.
