The SWAMTAS board discusses the Educational Intervention Project, music therapy student scholarships, and the benefits of attending regional conference for music therapy students.
SWAMTAS Scholarships for Sophomore and Senior MT Students
This year SWAMTAS is offering sophomore and senior music therapy students the opportunity to apply for a regional music therapy scholarship totaling at an amount of $250.
Applications will be evaluated based on extra-curricular activities, participation in music therapy school organizations and community services, GPA, recommendation letters, resume, a personal statement, and answers to the questions on the scholarship application.
Applicant must be present at the Spring SWAMTA Regional Conference in Austin, TX, in order to be awarded the scholarship if chosen by the SWAMTAS board. Completed applications are due March 1st, 2016, and must be emailed to the current SWAMTAS president at email@example.com. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
